Puerto Vallarta Activities

Continuing our series of posts on things you can do while on vacation in different destinations, we thought we would take a look at Puerto Vallarta. When vacationing here, you get the perfect escape that’s just a short flight away! Here you’ll be able to enjoy everything from surfing in clear warm waters to salsa dancing and even indulge your inner aristocrat too! The first stop will be the resort hotels; when you stay with an all inclusive resort you’ll get access to all kinds of perks that will keep you coming back for more; go swimming in the open water with dolphins, lounge alongside unbelievably huge pools with swim up bars and fun games, or get a massage right on the beach. If you’re a sun worshiper, you’ll have dozens of beaches to choose from and you can go swimming in lagoons at the Eco parks. Visit some of the best spas in the world, go dancing all night long or just take a stroll under stars so close that you can almost reach out and touch them. A Puerto Vallarta vacation gives you all of the things you need to have a great vacation without any of the fluff.

Get Outside

When you’re in Puerto Vallarta on vacation, the first thing you have to do is get outside and see the natural beauty that awaits you. From the jungles of Yelapa to the gorgeous light sand beaches and the Pacific Ocean, you’ll find a naturists paradise. Go on aqua tours out into the water and find the best dive spots and ship wrecks, learn how to surf in the perfect waters off the coast of Baja or go whale watching and get some pictures. You won’t have to walk far to find something to do, and if you’d rather just stay inside the resort you’ll find fun things to do too!

Enjoy Resort Perks

Staying at an all inclusive hotel means you’ll never have to leave the resort (though you really should!), and everything is right at your fingertips. Go dining in the resort restaurants, or go swimming in the clean clear waters of the pools with their swim up bars. Take a yoga class overlooking the waters and let the sound of the waves relax you, or just get a massage right out on the private beaches and unwind. You don’t have to do anything you don’t want to; it’s your vacation and you can spend it however you want.

Relax Your Worries Away

You’ll find so many different spas and wellness centers in Puerto Vallarta that you may not know where to start! If your all inclusive resort hotel has a spa, try them first. If not, Banderas Bay has some great spas that offer ancient Mayan, Aztec and European treatments that will relax and renew both body and mind; prices will range greatly at the spas outside the hotels, so you’ll want to make sure that you check with your concierge to know where your price range falls and what spas would be best for you!

With so much to do in Puerto Vallarta, it’s hard to find a reason not to have a great time.
