Caribbean Resorts: Which is the right one for you?

Caribbean Resorts

For me, one of my favorite destinations to visit for a beach vacation is the Caribbean. The Caribbean is home to many different islands, such as Aruba and Jamaica, with them all offering great things you can do while on your trip. Another great thing about taking a Caribbean vacation is the fact that there are so many different types of great resorts to chose from that you will surely find one that matches your taste. At some other vacation destinations, the resorts are very cookie cutter and offer just the basic amenities and don’t try to tailor what they offer to specific types of travelers. In the Caribbean you can surely find a resort that will offer the things that you will want to do on your getaway. If you are thinking about taking a trip to the Caribbean and not sure the types of resorts that are offered, here is a breakdown that will help you chose the right one.

Probably the most popular type of resort in the Caribbean are all inclusive resorts. When it comes to booking a trip to a Caribbean island, one of the first things that I think of is booking at an all inclusive resort. These types of packages allow you to not only book your accommodations for a discounted price but it also includes other things like dining, drinks and more. Finding an all inclusive resort in the Caribbean isn’t difficult as almost all of them offer some type of package throughout the year. If you’re looking for a great vacation and wanting to save, these types of resorts may be the best option for you.

Another popular type of resort in the Caribbean are adult resorts. These types of resorts are not only made for couples but also for singles as well. An adults only resort allows you to have a vacation where you don’t need to worry about kids running around the pool and making a lot of noise and instead more of a vacation that allows you to reconnect with your partner or possibly meet someone while on your trip. I have never had the chance to stay at an adults only resort in the Caribbean before as I have kids but I have had friends who have stayed at them and they enjoyed staying at them.

A third type of resort that you can consider in the Caribbean are luxury resorts. As you can already imagine, a luxury resort is where you can enjoy things like first class accommodations as well as first class service. Staying at a luxury resort in the Caribbean will cost you more as compared to other resorts but if you can afford it, it is well worth it. One of these days I am hoping that my husband and I will be able to take a romantic getaway to the Caribbean and stay at one of the many 5 star resorts located on these islands.

If you’re looking to get pampered while on vacation and really want to relax and unwind, you can consider a spa resort. In the Caribbean, you can find a lot of great resorts that offer world class spas where you can do things like getting a couples massages to getting different types of treatments. Not all resorts offer spas so you will want to make sure that when you book your trip, the resort you are considering offers one.

As you can see, when it comes to booking your stay at a resort in the Caribbean, you have a lot of different options to chose from. The thing that you need to do is figure out what type of vacation you want as it will allow you to chose the resort that is the best fit for your trip.
