We recently had the pleasure of experiencing a great resort in Fiji called the Auberge Nanuku Resort. This resort is a 2.5 hour drive from the main Fiji airport (Nadi International). You can also take a small plane from Nadi and in 30 minutes land 5 minutes away from Auberge Nanuku; definitely the easiest option.
This resort is great for honeymooners, families, weddings, multi-generational get togethers or friends’ vacations. Honeymooners will enjoy the beachfront villas with private plunge pools, fabulous outdoor showers and great food! Families and groups will enjoy the option of large villas, up to 5 bedrooms! These villas have their own large pools, outdoor grills and seating areas.
The resort offers entertainment every night in the bar/lounge area and the Fijian singers were great.
One of our favorite things about this resort was that each unit had bikes to ride to & from the main building. It was a lovely way to get around and if you rode your bike down to dinner and wanted to walk back, in the morning my bike would be outside my villa again like magic ?.
We also road bikes to the local town and it was super fun. We went shopping, chatted with school kids that were around and bought some fun clothes and pearl jewelry.
The spa is small and unassuming but I had one of the best massages I have ever had.
