Resort Overall :
 Room :
very nice clean beautiful view from any angle city or beach
Pools :
nice pool and service at pool enjoy every minute
Beach :
water was very cold but enjoy every minute of the ocean a must do again
Resort Activities :
 i did not do any activities on the resort did a lot of off resort activties which was beautiful
Restaurants and Bars :
now the breakfast and diner buffett was the delicious the bar at the pool was delicious service was excellent
Nightlife :
what a night so much to do went to two different night clubs which were great
Excursions :
germaine laui
culture center
pearl harbor
dole factory
and city tour
were all excellent worth every penny i reccommend it to everyone who travels here

Resort Overall :
 Hawaii was wonderful. I would move there if I could.
Room :
The room was nice. A good size for two people. We had 2 double beds, a desk and chair, a nice seating area and a flat screen TV. We had a city view with Diamond Head in the background and a partial ocean view. The beds were VERY comfortable. The bathroom area was okay. I didn't like that the coffee pot and drinking glasses were next to the sink. I was worried about hair getting next to food. Also the the grout around the bathtub needed to be cleaned. There were a few spots where it was coming off or a brownish color. Overall the room was great and our housekeeper was REALLY nice.
Pools :
The pool area was great. Not too crowded because the beach is so close I guess. There were 2 pools and plenty of space for everyone. The food and drinks at the bar were good too but pricey.
Beach :
GREAT! It was never too crowded. The water was wonderful and I love that they had a separate area for the surfers. Lots of homeless people but they don't bother you too much.
Resort Activities :
 I have no idea what the resort activities were. There were several desks with information books and every once and a while someone would be sitting there but I have no idea what they offered and no one ever tried to explain or suggest anything. We planned all of our activities through the breakfast greeting thing that was set up by Mary.
Restaurants and Bars :
They pretty much had ALL the same restaurants that we have at home. I was hoping for something different. The breakfast buffet at the hotel was really good and a reasonable price. We ate there twice.
Nightlife :
I didn't go but my friends went to Zanzibar and they said they had a great time.
Excursions :
Pearl Harbor, Maui Divers, Polynesian Cultural Center and Germaines Luau were EXCELLENT! I'm so glad that we chose the activities that we did. All of the tour guides were good. It was worth the money. The food at the luau could have been better but the show and Chad our tour guide made up for it. Chad deserves a raise. The food at the Polynesian center was EXCELLENT. We ate until we popped. I would recommend all of these places again.
Tips: DON'T do to luau at the Polynesian center. It is NOT better than Germaines. Everyone will try to tell you that but its not true at all.
There are no trips to see the volcanoes from Waikiki. If that's what you want to see go to another island.
