The Ritz Carlton, Grand Cayman offers three accommodation options, the most luxurious of which are the Ritz Carlton Club Lounges, which are located on the third floor. Each lounge is tastefully decorated in a contemporary style and boasts a plush king sized bed, a loveseat, a flat screen television and a 75 square foot balcony. All guests who book a lounge will receive a dedicated concierge for the duration of their stay and will be served a selection of light snacks, beverages and desserts every few hours. Alternatively guests can opt to stay in either an Ocean, Resort or Garden Room or a suite. The latter of which entitles guests to the services of a personal butler or chef, for an additional cost.
The Ritz Carlton, Grand Cayman boasts six unique restaurants, a few of which specialize in fusion Caribbean cuisine. A trip to the Ritz Carlton, Grand Cayman is incomplete without experiencing a meal at Blue by Eric Ripert. A seafood restaurant with some of the freshest fish, it has been awarded the AAA Five Diamond Resort Award for the past three years. Wine connoisseurs will also appreciate Blue as it’s wine cellar contains over 800 bottles of wine.
Fans of water sports will feel at home on Seven Mile Beach where they can try their hand at sailing a small hobby yacht or book a private snorkel cruise. It’s also possible to hire water trikes, rafts, kayaks and water hammocks. Although, if you’re after a more leisurely vacation you may prefer to lie out on one of the resort’s day beds. Private cabanas are also available for those seeking a little more shade.
If you’re a keen golfer, make sure to book a round at Blue Tip at the Ritz Carlton, a challenging nine hole golf course which was designed by professional golfer Greg Norman. Just be warned that eight out of the nine holes are surrounded by water and sand traps. If you have children, make sure to book a tee time after 3pm and your children will play for free.
If you have children who are passionate about tennis, take them to the Courts at the Ritz Carlton which boasts a custom tennis program designed by Nick Bollettieri who runs the Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Florida.
