Whether you’re planning a romantic honeymoon, a fun filled family trip, a solo break or a getaway with friends, you can’t go wrong booking a vacation at the Atlantis, Paradise Island, one of the Bahamas’ premier resorts.
The Atlantis Resort is located on Paradise Island, which lies just off the coast of Nassau. Like Nassau, Paradise Island is surrounded by stunning turquoise water and is home to some of the Caribbean’s finest beaches. No matter which of the six different accommodation options you choose, you’ll be within a stone’s throw from one of the resort’s private beaches.
When it comes to accommodation, Atlantis Resort offers a variety of options to cater to the different experiences guests are looking for. As an example, the Beach Tower is popular with families seeking value for money, while the Cove’s ocean front suites are geared towards those who are looking for a bit a luxury and privacy. Rest assured however, that no matter which option you choose, getting around the resort won’t be a problem, as all guests are entitled to use the resort’s complimentary shuttles.
One of the most popular options, however, is a suite in the iconic, Royal Towers. Each guest room in the Royal Towers boasts an ocean or harbor view, a French balcony, plush king or queen sized beds, a flat screen HDTV and 24 hour room service. Each room is also tastefully decorated in a modern, Bahamian style.
When it comes to activities, guests at the Atlantis Resort have a lot of choices. One of the resort’s biggest draw-cards is Aquaventure, a 141 acre water park which boasts a lazy river, 11 swimming pools and a variety of water slides including the Leap of Faith, which hurls riders down a near vertical, 60 foot, drop before they find themselves safely zooming through a shark tank in a clear tube. Entry to the park is free for all overnight guests.
The Atlantis Resort is also home to Dolphin Cay, a 14 acre sea water, marine habitat, where guests can interact with a variety of marine animals including dolphins, sting ray and sea lions. One of the experience’s unique to Atlantis Resort, is the Deep Water Swim, where guests can utilize hand-held water scooters, to dive down under the water’s surface and swim alongside a dolphin.
Foodies will also feel at home at the Atlantis Resort, which boasts 19 bars and 21 restaurants, four of which are run by celebrity chefs. If you’re a fan of gourmet Japanese fare, book in for dinner at Nobu, which is named after its head chef Nobu Matsuhisa, who specializes in serving his own take on traditional Japanese dishes. Don’t worry though, if you prefer Mediterranean, Caribbean or American cuisine, the Atlantis Resort has you covered. THE ROOM WAS FINE. GOOD SIZE FOR FOUR PEOPLE AND LUGGAGE.
Pools :
 THE WATER PARK AND POOLS WERE AMAZING! A GREAT PLACE TO BRING A FAMILY WITH CHILDREN.
Beach :
 THE BEACH WAS BEAUTIFUL, BUT THE CONSTANT NAGGING BY LOCALS TO BUY STUFF AND DO WATER SPORTS WAS UNNERVING. FOR A PRIVATE RESORT, I WOULD HAVE EXPECTED A MORE PEACEFUL TIME ON THE BEACH.

LOTS TO DO AT ALL TIMES. GREAT AMENITIES.
Restaurants and Bars :
VERY OVERPRICED! I ALSO WOULD HAVE LIKED TO SEE MORE CULTURAL FOOD CHOICES. A LOT OF THE FOOD WAS VERY AMERICANIZED.
Nightlife :
CASINO AND BARS IN EACH TOWER WERE NICE. VERY COURTEOUS STAFF.
Excursions :
WE HAD A WONDERFUL OUTING TO THE THE BLUE LAGOON ISLAND. I WOULD GO THERE AGAIN FOR A DAY TRIP JUST TO HAVE A PEACEFUL BEACH DAY WITHOUT THE HASSLE OF VENDORS.
