St. Croix Nightlife

St Croix has an amazing nightlife scene, but they’re centered on the Christiansted and Frederikstad areas. From the dazzling lights of the casinos to Sunset Jazz on the waterfront, you’ll be able to find a good range of things to do. Unlike a lot of the other nightlife scenes on other Caribbean islands, St Croix is more of a live music and entertainment kind of island, so you won’t find a lot of DJs outside the major clubs. Enjoy a stroll across the beach with great music and food, followed up by great clubs that are bumping until dawn in the resort hotels. If you go out to the pier in Frederikstad, you’ll be able to watch the sunset jazz with live performers, plus some buskers who are just hanging out and doing cool magic shows on the boardwalk. From adventurous and exciting to laid back and relaxed, you’ll find it all here in St Croix; make your destination wedding and honeymoon the way you want it!

St. Croix’s Live Entertainment

Live entertainment with Spanish and jazz music abounds around the island, you just need to know where to look. Both in Christiansted and Frederikstad you’ll find live music in the bars and on the piers, so keep an eye out! This usually begins around sun down, when the lights come on and glitter beside the water. Sit on a beach mat and listen to live calypso music, or head into the casinos to see what shows they have! If you’re not interested in a show, test your luck and see how you fare at the tables.

Laid Back Lounges in St. Croix

Wine lounges and martini bars can be found all over the Frederikstad area, so follow the streets and you’ll find them. With laid back chill out music playing and comfy seating, you can while away the night in luxury and comfort. One of the few places on the island that doesn’t have live music are usually lounges, but they do have live DJs that will keep you chilled out all night long.

St. Croix Clubbing

Clubbing is the first place most of us stop, and you’ll find tons of them. When you go to the casinos, you’ll find they have their own clubs with glass dance floors and funky décor that will make things interesting. You’ll be able to avoid cover charges by going to your resort, where you should be able to party for free and get your drinks for free too! Ask the concierge of your resort to make sure, and if there is a cover charge buy a week long party pass (it’ll be a wristband in most cases) or just a weekend pass that will help you avoid $45 cover charges at the different resorts.

Never underestimate the fun that pub crawls can bring! Organized by tourism and different resorts, it’s a whole new way to explore nightlife on the island. Look around for which ones you can sign up for and prepare to do a lot of walking and exploration!
