Top Family Resorts for Your Vacation

Top Family Resort

When it comes to planning a family vacation, one of the more important things that you need to pick is where you will be staying. Picking a resort that offers everything that you will need while on your vacation will make things a lot easier for you. If you have kids you know how hard it can be to travel with them sometimes so you need to make sure the hotel you decide on offers things they can enjoy. I know that when I go on family vacations with my own kids I need to look for a resort that offers things they will enjoy as it will make my trip more enjoyable. If you are in the process of planning a family vacation and are looking for some of the best resorts your kids will enjoy, these are some of my favorites.

If you are looking for a “mega” resort in paradise that offers a lot of amenities your kids would enjoy, one you should consider is the Hilton Waikoloa Village. Located on the Big Island in Hawaii, the Hilton Waikoloa Village is a massive resort that offers so many things that you may not want to leave the resort. Just to show you how big this resort is, you can take either a boat or monorail to get from one side of the hotel to the other. While staying at this resort, one thing that your kids will probably want to do is swim with the dolphins on the property. When I took my kids here for a vacation, they had the chance to try this out and loved out. Other things you can enjoy while staying here are the many pool as well as an enclosed salt water area that gives you the ability to swim with turtles and fish.

A second resort you might consider for your family trip is the Atlantis, Paradise Island Royal Tower Resort. Located in the Bahamas, this again is a big resort that offers 38 restaurants, 11 exhibit lagoons and so much more. If you have never taken a vacation to the Bahamas before, it truly is a tropical paradise with amazing weather and some of the best beaches. At the Atlantis Resort your kids can enjoy swimming in the many pools located on the property as well as enjoying a great water-slide. This resort also offers the ability for your kids to see many different types of animals that include sharks, stingrays and lion-fish. The other great thing about visiting this resort is that it is affordable and offers a lot of great deals throughout the year.

With us talking about favorite family resorts you knew we needed to include one from the most popular family destination, which is Disney. Out of the many resorts that Disney owns, one of my favorites has to be the Grand Californian, which is located at Disneyland. With this resort I will be the first to admit that it is pricey but if you can afford it, I highly recommend staying here for your Disney vacation. One of my favorite things about this resort is the fact that it has its own private entrance into Disney California Adventure Park. This makes it really easy for you as all you need to do is walk downstairs and you can enter the park.

These are just some of our favorite family resorts. When booking your trip before booking your hotel stay, make sure the resort you decide on offers things your family will enjoy.
