  2. Barnbougle Lost Farm – This is a breathtakingly beautiful course that’s located on the north east coast of Tasmania, adjacent to Barnbougle Dunes. Barnbougle Lost Farm has 20 holes which offer a more diverse routing as compared to the Barnbougle Dunes golf course. It was designed by the world renowned golf course design company known as, Coore and Crenshaw, and was opened officially in December of the year 2010.
  3. Ratho Farm Golf Links – Ratho is well known as the actual birthplace of Australian golf. It was started back in 1830’s and is Australia’s oldest golf course. It is located 46 miles north of Hobart, which is about an hour’s drive. This golf course has 18 historic links holes and also has premium on course accommodation.
  4. Tasmania Golf Club – Tasmania Golf Club course is set on the absolutely breathtaking Barilla Bay, a stone’s throw away from Hobart. It has 8 holes, and is one of the most spectacular and picturesque courses in Tasmania. Bordered by 3 sides of water and a favorite amongst international and local golfers, the Tasmania Golf Course is one of the most prestigious golf courses in the whole of Tasmania, and is rated as one of the top 9 golf courses in Tasmania. In fact, it’s where championship golf is played.

Best Time For Golfing in Tasmania

The best time for golfing in Tasmania is between December and March. During these months, the temperatures are very comfortable. However, it’s best to bring with you wet weather gear since Tasmania tends to have unpredictable weather, where you can get four seasons in a single day.
