Best Value Vacation – Grand Bahia Principe San Juan

Best Value Vacation – Grand Bahia Principe San Juan

Is it really possible to have an exciting all-inclusive vacation in the Dominican Republic without doing serious damage to your wallet? The Grand Bahia Principe San Juan proves that you definitely can have the best of both worlds in one place. The resort covers all the bases you would expect from a solid performer in its class – free flow of snacks and soft drinks all day and all night, in-room mini-bar with mineral water refilled daily, soft drinks and beer, free flow of alcohol in the casino and nightclub on premises, free buffets, free á la carte dinners and a range of activities for the whole family on land, on the beach and in the water.

One of the most common things that vacationers complain about when staying at a budget-friendly resort is the maintenance and upkeep. That is far from a concern at Grand Bahia Principe San Juan – it is kept immaculately clean and problems with amenities are dealt with immediately.

There are several dining options for every meal. The La Brisa Restaurant focus on international cuisine in its buffet setup – everything from handmade pasts and pizzas to fresh fruit. Three a la carte restaurants offering three distinct types of cuisine – Japanese, Italian and gourmet – are available for reservations as well. There is no charge here, either. There are bars dotting the entire resort so you never have to wander far to get yourself a drink. The swim-up bars at the pool and the beach bars on the sand are a heavenly slice of refreshment just seconds away from your favorite activities.

The pool area is a hub of action, both organized and self-planned. The resort caters largely to families and most will find some activity or the other to engage them. Guests enjoy complimentary access to the gym, the tennis courts, the mini-golf course and the soccer field. This is one of the few resorts, budget or otherwise, that even provides a free diving lesson for all vacationers. If you want to spalsh out a little bit more for activities in the water, the resort offers sailing classes, catamaran hire, fishing adventures, motorized sports, paddle boarding, banana boats and full-feature PADI-certified diving. On terra firma, there is vehicle hire, horseback riding, aerobics classes and an on-site spa for all your beauty and massage therapy needs.

For anyone missing home or needing to catch up on the latest news, there is free W-Fi access in the lobby 24 hours a day. You can also get in-room Wi-Fi access for an additional charge.Overall, the Grand Bahia Principe San Juan is testament that an all-inclusive resort does not have to be an all-out expense. If you are looking for a great vacation for yourself, as a couple or as a family, it is an ideal option.
