Best Beach Spots For Memorial Day

With Memorial Day being just a couple of weeks away, I thought it would be a good idea to look at some of the more popular beach destinations that people are traveling to for their vacation. One thing you should know about traveling during Memorial Day is how busy it is which means prices will be higher and the airports will be much busier. If you weren’t able to go on vacation during this Memorial Day and are looking for ideas for next year, these are some of the most popular spots to consider.

When you think of some of the most popular beach destinations in the world, one that you will most likely think of is Hawaii. Hawaii is home to some of the best beaches in the world where you can spend the day working on your tan. When taking a vacation to Hawaii for Memorial Day, one of the bigger decisions to make is which island to visit. Each Hawaiian Island offers something different as well as some being more expensive to visit. If you’re looking to stay at a luxury beach resort and don’t care what you pay for it, than Maui is the island for you as it offers some of the better resorts and is the most expensive to visit. If you’re more on a budget and want to find a good deal, Oahu is the island for you.

If Hawaii isn’t the spot for you and you’re looking for a destination where you can do it all but for less, one spot to consider is the Riviera Maya. Located in Mexico next to Cancun, the Riviera Maya is a tropical paradise that offer a lot of different activities for you to partake in. One of the better things about booking your Memorial Day vacation in the Riviera Maya are the all inclusive deals. While they won’t be as cheap as some of the other travel periods, you should still be able to find a great deal on your package. If you have never been on an all inclusive vacation before, it really is one of the best travel packages to book as everything is included and you don’t need to worry about opening your wallet while on the resort property.

A third destination you might want to consider for your beach Memorial Day holiday is the Bahamas. If you have never had the chance to visit the Bahamas before, it is like a action packed tropical paradise that offers so many things to do. One of my favorite spots in the Bahamas to visit is Paradise Island as this is where some of the better resorts are located. The Bahamas does also offer all inclusive packages so if you decide to visit here, make sure you try to book one of them as it will allow you to do more but for less.

If you are interested in visiting a beach destination next year for Memorial Day, these are just some of the spots you can consider. The thing you need to remember is to book your trip early as the longer you wait, the higher the prices will get.
